A Life Rooted in Nature

My childhood was spent climbing trees, lying in fields, talking to insects and grasses, and making friends with every animal and horse in the neighbourhood. The natural world was my playground, my companion and my solace. From as far back as I can remember, the world around me was vividly, unmistakably alive, and I could feel it, hear it, and communicate with it.

That has never changed. What has changed is my understanding of the gift, and how to share it.

I have always been able to perceive what most people cannot see: auras and energetic fields, the intelligence held in the human body, the messages carried by animals and plants, the wisdom stored in stones and land, and the voices of ancestors and guides who have passed. My life's work has been to bring that unseen world into view, for myself and for the people I work with so that they too can experience life in the fuller, deeper way I know is possible.

Healing for People

My formal training began in the early 1990s with aromatherapy, reflexology and Reiki, before I discovered Shiatsu, a practice rooted in thousands of years of Traditional Chinese Medicine that gave my innate gifts a grounded container to work within. Reading the human body as a living map of energy, following the meridians with my hands, and supporting the body's own extraordinary drive toward balance and healing has been one of the great privileges of my working life. I went on to specialise in Shiatsu for women, pregnancy and fertility, and in teaching the practice to others.

For fifteen years I worked as a Forest School teacher, sparking a love of the natural world in thousands of children across Devon. Through bushcraft, rural arts and crafts, and nature connection I helped children discover the living world on their own doorstep. This connection is a necessity; something the soul requires in order to thrive.

I later trained in Life-Tracking Kinesiology, which uses muscle testing and body dowsing to unlock blockages held in the past and bring the clarity and healing through to the present. This practice resonated deeply with my clairvoyant abilities and my capacity to commune with guides, ancestors and past lives, the seen and the unseen working together in service of healing.

Animal Communication

Animals have always been part of this too. I use a blend of animal communication, kinesiology and dowsing to help animals be heard, understood and supported.

Sacred Sites, Land Energy & Dartmoor

The same listening that opens me to the human body and the animal world also opens me to the land itself. Thirty years ago, I trained in geomancy and land dowsing, learning to find what cannot be seen beneath the surface of the earth. That practice led me to sacred sites, where I witnessed fountains of energy rising from a stone circle and understood viscerally that these places are living, breathing presences, holding earth energy and ancient memory in their stones.

From 2014 I began sitting with the sacred sites of Dartmoor, listening to the ancestors, receiving their messages, and finding ways to share what I was being shown. That listening became sharing ceremony, making vibrational essences, and eventually a book and Oracle cad deck, twelve years in the making, weaving together archaeology, folklore, and channelled wisdom from thirty of Dartmoor's most ancient and powerful sites.

My relationship with sacred landscapes has taken me across Europe and beyond, and the work of listening to and writing about sacred sites in other countries is already underway. Dartmoor, however, remains my heartland and my greatest teacher.

2002 Shiatsu Practitioner Diploma from the Devon School of Shiatsu. This gave me a grounding and understanding of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Macrobiotics and Energetic Bodywork.

Work with Me

My healing work brings together more than thirty years of experience in Shiatsu, Kinesiology, Reiki, aromatherapy, reflexology, animal communication, dowsing and work with sacred sites. I read the body, the energy field and the wider web of relationship around a person or animal, listening for where balance has been lost and what is asking to be restored. Everything I do is in service of the same thing: helping people to feel the fuller, more alive version of the world that is always present, always available, and always waiting to be felt.
