Exploring Medicinal Mushrooms and Connecting with the Land
Down Tor Stone Circle, Dartmoor
With Liz Meadows and Alice Sophia (Mycologist and Forager) - £45
We will work with medicinal mushrooms to gently open your senses and deepen your connection to the energetics of the Earth. Through guided exercises, quiet observation, and time spent in nature, we will explore how a sub-perceptive dose of mushroom creates a subtle shift in awareness and a richer experience of the landscape. You will be encouraged to slow down, listen deeply, and develop a more direct relationship with the living world around them.

Keening with Sacred Sites and the Land on Dartmoor
Shovel Down Ceremonial Complex, Dartmoor
With Liz Meadows - £40
This gathering is part of an ongoing endeavour to reintroduce this indigenous tradition and restore the human voice to collective grieving.
We will walk an ancient stone row, following in the footsteps of those who came before us, who used the act of walking the sacred rows as a processional container to support their grief. We will also gather at the Longstone, the standing stone at the heart of the complex, which stands over three metres high, and work with the energy of the stone in combination with our voices. The stones, the open landscape, and the long memory held within the moor provide a powerful setting for reflection and release.
Through guided practice we will work with our voice, listening to the subtle movement between harmony and dissonance, exploring how keening reconnects you with the full range of emotions that have long been suppressed, and learning to express what words alone cannot always convey. Keening is also an expression of the land itself, a way of allowing the voice to become a channel for the living landscape around us.

Autumn Equinox Gathering at Grey Wethers Double Stone Circle
Grey Wethers Double Stone Circle, Dartmoor
With Liz Meadows - £30
Mark the turning of the seasons through ceremony, balance, and connection with the stone circles.
Grey Wethers is one of Dartmoor's most remarkable prehistoric monuments. This rare double stone circle carries a distinct energetic quality within each of its two rings. The northern circle holds a masculine, active energy and the southern circle holds a feminine, receptive energy, one of inward reflection, stillness and wisdom.
We will honour the gifts of the year and the wisdom that comes through letting go. This gathering offers you a chance to pause, reconnect with the rhythms of the natural world, and mark an important point in the Celtic Wheel of the year alongside others.
Dartmoor Sacred Sites Testimonials
““The day at Drizzlecombe on Dartmoor opened up many lines of inquiry for me. The walk and ritual was both ordinary and deeply profound. I experienced collective trust in intuitive and energetic ways of knowing, a different sense of time, and a bodily experience of these. We were connecting with the Earth together in a way I never have before, and the Earth responded to us.””
